What we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under UK GDPR.
Broadstairs Fencing is a trading name of NordSys Limited, registered in England. Data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR.
When you request a quote via WhatsApp, phone, email or the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, and any photos or details you send about the job. When you visit the site: standard web analytics (via Google Analytics 4) covering page views, session duration, referrer and approximate location by IP. No cookies are set beyond the essential Google Analytics cookies.
Quote enquiry data is used to reply to the enquiry, provide a quote, and (if you engage us) to schedule and invoice the work. Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
Quote enquiries: 12 months from the enquiry, then deleted, unless we do work for you (in which case we keep records for 7 years under HMRC rules). Analytics: 14 months rolling.
Nobody outside the business except: HMRC for tax purposes on invoices; Google for the analytics data (subject to Google's privacy policy); and any subcontractor we bring in for a specific job (name and postcode only, and only for the duration of that job).
Under UK GDPR you have the right to request a copy of the data we hold on you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to its processing. Email hello@broadstairsfencing.co.uk and we will action within 30 days.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
